1. Number of students to be admitted

2. Qualification for application

An entrance examination will be held for female applicants who fall under (1) and (3) below who wish to enter the university.

(1) Those who have completed a 12-year school education curriculum in a foreign country and are qualified to enter universities in the said country, or those equivalent to the above and are designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

(2) Those who have either (i) passed the N2 or higher level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) conducted jointly by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, or (ii) scored 200 points or higher on the subject "Japanese as  a foreign language (reading comprehension, listening and listening-reading comprehension" of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) conducted by Japan Student Services Organization, (Whether you are submitting (i) or (ii), it is necessary that the result was issued on or after June 1, 2023.) Those who have taken but failed the N1 level of JLPT are qualified to apply under the condition that their score for the N1 exam is submitted along with the application documents.

(3) (For applicants to the Department of 足彩澳门即时盘_澳门足彩博彩-游戏公司 Language and Culture,) those who have one of the qualifications listed in Table 1.

Note) Only the official scores acquired on April 1, 2024, or later can be accepted.
*1 EIKEN Grade 2 or higher, including S-CBT. Whether the applicant has passed or failed the exam does not affect their qualification.
*2 Only the scores for Basic, Advanced or CBT (excluding Core)
*3 Only the scores for A2 Key (KET), B1 Preliminary (PET), B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE) or C2 Proficiency (CPE), including "for Schools" tests.
*4 The score is to be calculated as 2.5 times the TOEIC S&W score. Scores for TOEIC IP are not accepted.

3. Application documents (please write mainly in Japanese.)

  3. Application form/reason for application (form prescribed by the university)
    ※Please write in Japanese.
  4. Certificate of graduation, diploma, or certificate of expected graduation from the highschool the applicant attends or attended. (Original document only)
    ※Translations into Japanese or 足彩澳门即时盘_澳门足彩博彩-游戏公司 need to be attached to documents written in languages other than Japanese or 足彩澳门即时盘_澳门足彩博彩-游戏公司  that have been issued by institutions outside of Japan.
  5. A copy of your residence card (both front and back) ※ Applicable to those who have a Japanese residence card are applying for admission while in school or working
  6. Approval for the application issued by the head of the organization to which the applicant belongs ※Applicable to those who are applying for admission while in school or working
  7. A copy of certification of a passing score on the N2 level or higher, or the score report (whether pass or fail) for the N1 level,  of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)  conducted jointly by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
    ※If the certificate has not yet been issued at the time of application, please submit it as soon as you receive it.
    ※Submission of the score is required for those who have not passed N1
     Or a copy of the examination voucher for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) conducted by Japan Student Services Organization
  8. (For applicants to the Department of 足彩澳门即时盘_澳门足彩博彩-游戏公司 Language and Culture), a copy of the certification showng passing scores  on the 足彩澳门即时盘_澳门足彩博彩-游戏公司 certification exams.
  9. (For applicants to the Department of Arts and Sciences) The score on the subject "Japan and the World" of EJU 
  10. (For applicants to the Department of Food Environment) The score on the subject "Science (Chemistry, Biology)" of EJU
  11. Attendance certificate issued from an institution such as an instutition for Japanese language education or a specialised training college. 
    ※Original document only
    ※Applicable to those who are enrolled or were previously enrolled in a Japanese language school or a specialised training college in Japan.
     The submitted attendance certificate must be issued from an educational institution in Japan in which the applicant is enrolled at the point of application or has most recently been enrolled.
  12. Certificate of bank balances (of your sponsor's account)
  13. Entrance examination fee of  ¥30,000
    ?Please note that there is a separate transfer fee of ?900.
    ?After completing registration in the Online Admissions Application system, please pay the online entrance  examination fee at a convenience store, or with Pay-easy or credit card.
  14. Applicants may be requested to submit other documents and/or certificates required by the university.

4. Application procedure

  1. After the completion of your registration in Japanese in the Online Admissions Application system, please send the application documents and entrance examination fee ((1-14) above) to Fuji Women’s University.
    An application is considered 'accepted' when 1) it has been registered in the Online Admissions Application system; 2) the fee payment for the entrance exam as been received, and 3) the application documents have been sent  by post. If any of these steps is not completed, then your application will be rejected.
    ①Please put all required application documents in an A4 size envelope, attach the “Envelope Address Sheet” label (that can be printed out along with the application form) on the envelope, and send it to the university by simple registered express.
    ②Please note that application documents that are insufficient or submitted after the due date will not be accepted. Documents must be postmarked by the due date.
    ③Documents and fees that have been submitted will not be returned.
    ④The desired faculty/department cannot be changed after the application.

  4. Please be sure to bring a printed copy of your exam admission ticket which you downloaded from Online Admissions Application System.

5. Screening method

The applicants are comprehensively screened based on the submitted application materials and their test score.

8. Announcement of results  

 I:November 1 (Sat.), 2025    10:00 a.m.
 II:February 19 (Thu.), 2026    10:00 a.m.

※The admission results will be announced through the Online Admissions Application system. Please log in with your examinee number and birthday. The results will be posted at https://www.postanet.jp/gouhi/012006/ for one week. You can access the site from a computer or smartphone. Successful applicants will be directly notified in writing.

9. Admission procedures  

 I: November 20 (Thu.) - November 27 (Thu), 2025
 II:February 20 (Fri.) - February 27 (Fri.), 2026

Documents concerning admission procedures will be sent together with the notification of acceptance. Please  submit the written pledge, student card and other documents prescribed by the university by the designated deadline.

  • Please read the 2026 Entrance Examination Guidelines (brochure) regarding the tuition and other payments.
  • Please enter the examination room, follow the  posted notices and the instructions of the staff and sit in your designated seat  by the meeting time.
