Department of Educational Well-being for Children

Department Objectives

Children are expected to become contributing members to future society, helping to create a better world. Early childhood and elementary years are crucial periods in human development and personal growth. The experiences and surrounding environment during this period greatly influence who a child becomes later in life. Therefore, supporting children's growth is of utmost importance for developing better societies.

Furthermore, since children's development is deeply tied to their interactions with others, it is equally important to support those who engage with children—whether they are educators, caregivers, or other members of the community.

This department offers a comprehensive study of child development, their surrounding social environment, and the various ways that institutions collaborate in child welfare and education. Our goal is to train professionals who work directly with children, as well as those who support children's development from a variety of perspectives.
